1Who we are

This website is operated by Aqua Mist for Trading & Services W.L.L, a company registered in the State of Qatar under commercial registration number 240257 and based in Doha. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2What this website collects automatically

You can read every page of this site without giving us any data at all.

• We use no cookies.
• We use no analytics, tracking or advertising tools of any kind.
• We store nothing in your browser.
• Fonts, images and video are served from our own servers, so nothing about you is sent to a third party simply because you browsed the site.

4How that data reaches us

When you press send, what you typed is assembled into a single message and one of two routes opens: either a WhatsApp chat with the company’s number and the message already written, or your own mail application with the message prepared. In both cases nothing is sent until you press send yourself, and you can abandon it at any point beforehand.

Once the message reaches us we hold it in the company mailbox or its WhatsApp Business account. A WhatsApp conversation is then subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy (Meta) in addition to this one.

This website does not store your data and has no database.

5Why we use your data

• To respond to your request and arrange the technical visit.
• To prepare the site study and quotation.
• To contact you about that request and the service and maintenance connected to it.

We do not use your data for any marketing purpose unrelated to your request, and we do not sell, rent or trade it with anyone, under any circumstances.

6Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, expressed by sending us the request, and to the extent necessary to act on what you asked for.

7Who sees your data

Aqua Mist staff in sales and technical service, to the extent their work requires. Alongside them, the technical service providers through whom the message passes or on whom the site is hosted:

We share your data with no one else, unless required by law or by an order from a competent judicial or regulatory authority in the State of Qatar.

8Transfers outside Qatar

As set out above, some service providers process data on servers outside the State of Qatar. By using the form you understand and agree to this. We select providers that observe internationally recognised protection standards.

9Server logs

Like any website, the hosting servers automatically record technical data about visits, including IP address, browser type and request time. These logs are used for operational and security purposes only — detecting faults and abuse — and are not linked to your identity or used for tracking.

10Retention

We keep your request data for as long as needed to answer and serve you, then:

• If the enquiry does not become a contract: deleted within 24 months of the last contact.
• If it becomes a contract: retained for the life of the contractual relationship, and afterwards for the period required by accounting and tax rules in the State of Qatar.

You may ask us to delete your data before these periods at any time.

11Your rights

Personal Data Privacy Protection Law No. (13) of 2016 gives you the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Erase it and ask us to stop processing it.
• Object to its processing for a particular purpose.
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details at the foot of this page. We respond within 30 days, and may ask you to verify your identity so that your data is not disclosed to someone else.

12Security

That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• The entire site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), enforced on every visit.
• Access to the mailbox and WhatsApp Business account is restricted to authorised staff.
• We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss and unauthorised access.

13Children’s privacy

Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. If we learn that such data has reached us, we delete it.

14External links and services

The site may link to external services such as WhatsApp and Instagram. This policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to read their own privacy policies.

15Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change is published on this page with the “Last updated” date above revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
